The obelisk in the center of St. Peters Square. It dates to 1300 years before christ and was brought to Rome by Caligula, then to St. Peters square in the 1500's. It is the only obelisk in Rome to have not toppled since Roman times and the gilt ball on top was said to have held the ashes of Julius Caesar. Download
